Hi friends, today i'm gonna to say about creating bootable usb disk. Usage of USB drives for bootable disk makes an Operating System installation is faster rather than usage of CD/DVD's. Normally usage of CD/DVD's takes more than 30 minutes to install a particular operating system and costs of buying CD/DVD's increases cost. Using pendrives to install OS's makes probably upto just 10 minutes to complete it. Pendrives are reformattable and we can use many times by just formatting it.

Let see how to use pendrives as bootable disks. To use pendrives as bootable disks, we must have to install some tools that allows to create bootable disks. There are lot of tools is available. Here we are going to choose the famous tool 'UNETBOOTIN' .

Just select ISO file and Open it.

Now Select USB Drive, if you inserted multiple USB disks. Check above screenshot. In this i was chosen " /dev/sdb1/ " and press OK to create bootable disk. Wait for 4-6 minutes to install it.

When the installation is completed,  Press Reboot Now option to install the OS or manually restart your machine to install it.

To Boot from USB, you must setup your BIOS settings.

Go to BIOS settings when your System is started and go to boot tab and Check the option " USB Device Boot First " is Enabled.  Thats all. Enjoy to installing it.
