Samsung pretende que la innovación sea la seña de identidad en la gama alta del sector de los smartphones. Aunque las ventas de su último equipo no han sido las que esperaba la compañía, no se puede negar que añadidos como Smart Scroll convierten al dispositivo en una opción muy atractiva. Además, sus expectativas pasan por mejorar esta estrategia en los próximos años de cara a sorprender y cerrar distancias con el iPhone, que en sus últimas ediciones ha perdido parte de esta capacidad innovadora. Un primer concepto de diseño adelanta algunos rasgos que se incluirían en el próximo Samsung Galaxy S5, cuya salida a la venta se produciría en el segundo trimestre de 2014. En el apartado técnico destacaría por incluir una potente cámara trasera con sensor de 16 megapíxeles y flash LED, mientras que la frontal contaría con uno de 3,2 megapíxeles que mejoraría notablemente las videoconferencias con el móvil. En cuanto a componentes externos, se espera que integre un procesador quad core a 2,4 GHz, pero lo más sorprendente estará en su diseño. El concepto señala que será un terminal muy ligero y delgado, con apenas 5 milímetros de grosor. Igualmente, su tamaño aumentaría a las 6 pulgadas, su acabado pasaría a estar conformado por aluminio en sustitución del plástico, contaría con un nuevo botón de Inicio e integraría la tecnología Full HD AMOLED en su panel. Además, integraría carga inalámbrica. En un primer momento llegarían al mercado dos versiones en función de su color: blanco y negro. Imaginando el Samsung Galaxy S6 Pero lo más sorprendente es que antes de que el S5 aterrice, también están <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JvmcxWEKL8" style="background-color: #fbfbfb; color: #1e5b7e; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">circulando en la Red</a> conceptos sobre elSamsung Galaxy S6. Uno de ellos lo muestra como un terminal minimalista en su diseño pero que destaca por contar con pantalla de 4,5 pulgadas cóncava y con propiedades flexibles. Su resolución alcanzaría los 2K y sería resistente a inmersiones acuáticas y arañazos. Los creadores del concepto también señalan que Android 6.0 será su sistema operativo. Asimismo, destacan que su batería, sin entrar en detalles, podría contar con una autonomía de una semana de uso intenso con una única carga. Para 2015, fecha en la que llegaría, conseguiría ofrecer grabación de vídeo en 4K con su cámara con sensor de 16 megapíxeles (aunque dado que se esperan dispositivos con este sensor este mismo año, éste podría ser mejorado). En definitiva, una serie de posibilidades muy atractivas pero que no dejan de ser meras suposiciones sin demasiado fundamento, marcando eso sí posibles caminos que Samsung podría tomar en un futuro no muy lejano de cara a mejorar su flamante gama Galaxy S.
