Debian OS 6 of its eight version is officially released and available to download now. Debian OS is the linux based Operating System, which similarly based on ubuntu operating system. It just maintenance update with very few changes of release. But it actually has the large number of updated packages in it.
Debian 6.0 ( Squeeze ) users will be able update directly via an up-to-date Debian mirror. They don't need to throw away their debian 6.0 CD's. The people who are all frequently updating the system, they just need to install the few amount packages by updating it. It allows directly upgrading in it.
