How to install/update OpenShot Video Editor of latest version 1.4.3-1 installation on Ubuntu 11.04/11.10/12.04/12.10/13.04/13.10

OpenShot Video Editor is open source software which allows to user to create and edit videos and movies from other sources of videos, audios and images.

Using OpenShot Video Editor user able to create videos for YouTube, Xbox,iPod,Vimeo,Metacafe,Flickr and many more common formats. It has Key-frame animation feature which allows to user add some effects in particular key frame on video. Users able to store output in form of video,audio or image formats. But the higher version of Ubuntu version 13.04/13.10 only allows user to install the latest version 1.4.3-1 of OpenShot Video Editor. Installation :

Step 1 : Open terminal by Accessories -> Terminal or CTRL+ALT+T

Step 2 : Add PPA by entering the following command in your terminal.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:openshot.developers/ppa

Step 3 : Update the repository by

sudo apt-get update

Step 4 : Now Install the latest version of 1.4.3-1 OpenShot Video Editor by

sudo apt-get install openshot
