CCNA means Cisco Certified Network Associate. CCNA is one certified course of Cisco Networking Company, whose certificate proves that a person is having ability to understand basics of Cisco Hardware, Cisco products and Cisco algorithms. Initial Cisco’s Network Certifications
Initially, there was only one certified course in Cisco Certification and that was CCIE(Cisco Certified Internet-work Expert).But it was too difficult to take attempt for that course directly, so the people giving exams needed to give lots of attempts for this examination.

CCNA is the first step and the first course towards the certifications of Cisco. Cisco has organized one exam for CCNA certification. Fee’s for applying in that examination is 295$. So one must be properly trained, practiced and have referred the certain books on it to apply for this exam as the 295$ is not a small amount.
Validity of CCNA Certificate
The validity of CCNA is up to 3 years until you give the exam of next level which is CCNP(Cisco Certified Network Professional). So if one wants to appear for CCNP, he must appear within 3 years after completing the CCNA.
Passing marks for 200-120 CCNAX Examination
Passing marks of CCNA were not predefined before but now its predefined and Passing marks for this exam is 825. Number of questions in the exams will be in between 50 to 60 (Most probably 51). Multiple choice questions will only be asked in the exams.
Time Duration of Exam
Time duration for CCNA exam will be of 90 minutes.Languages in which the Exam will be held
