How to install Tomboy Notes on Ubuntu/Fedora/Debian OS

Tomboy is a application which is designed specifically for desktop note-taking purpose. It is simple and easy to use. It lets you to organize your notes intelligently by allowing you to easily link ideas together with Wiki style interconnects. It is also available for Linux, Windows, Unix and Mac OS X.
It have following features in it.

Let see about installation of Tomboy.

Step 1 : Open Terminal by Accessories -> Terminal or CTRL+ALT+T

Step 2 : And type the following command in terminal.

For Ubuntu/Debian users =>

sudo apt-get install tomboy

For Fedora users =>

yum install tomboy

Step 3 : It's enough to install it. Also two more addons are developed for this to improve its features.  If you want to install it, then enter the following commands in your terminal.

Tasque addon => 

for Ubuntu/Debian users

sudo apt-get install tasque

for Fedora users

yum install tasque

Evolution Mail and Calendar addon =>

For Ubuntu/Debian users

sudo apt-get install evolution

For Fedora users

yum install evolution
