Most of the bloggers blog is to be added automatically on google search engine and available searching list based page rank. Google is the one of the way to increase traffic to your site. But what do you think of your blog traffic, if the other famous search engine also included your site in searching list. For famous sites, there is no problem. It will be automatically added in every search engine. For new bloggers by adding your site to famous search engines like bing, yahoo you can able to increase your blog traffic. Let see how we increase it.
To add your blog to bing and yahoo search engine, just follow the steps.
Step 1 : Go to Bing Webmaster. Click login with your hotmail account. If you don't have hotmail account the just signup here.
Step 2 : Now enter your blog address and press ADD button
Step 3 : Now add your feed address to sitemap place. I mean enter the following address in your sitemap field. http://blogname.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default where as replace blogname as your blog url name.
Step 4 : If you fill those details correctly, then press verify button.
Step 5 : After pressing verify button, you have to add meta key for available your site on bing searching. It will be done by 3 options.
Choose any one option...
Option 1 => Place an XML file on your web server
Option 2 => Copy and paste a <meta> tag in your default webpage
Option 3 => Add CNAME record to DNS
As a blogger, choose the easiest method of 2nd option. So just copy the <meta> tag from the second option in that page.
Step 6 : Now go to blogger and login to go your dashboard. Now click on Template and then click Edit Html. Check the screenshot.
Step 7 : Now press CTRL+F and enter the " <head> " and press enter to search it. Now PASTE the copied <meta> tag after the head tag. Check the screenshot below.
Step 8 : That's all done. Go and check the status of your blog address after some times in your dashboard of bing webmaster's site.
