 Office Host Computer
1.  Click "Start," then click the "Control Panel" link. Click the "Performance and Maintenance" heading, then click the "System" heading, displaying the "System Properties" window on the screen.

2 . Click the "Remote" tab, then check the "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer" box. Click "OK" to confirm the changes.

3 . Click "Start," then click "Control Panel." Click the "Security Center" heading, then the "Windows Firewall" heading. The "Windows Firewall Properties" window will appear on the screen.

4 . Check the "Don't allow exceptions" box under the "General" tab. Click the "Exceptions" tab, then check the "Remote Desktop" box. Click "OK" to confirm the changes and close the "Security Center."


Remote Home Computer
1 . Click "Start," then click "All Programs." Click the "Accessories" folder, then the "Communications" folder. Click the "Remote Desktop Connection" application.
2 . Type the computer name of your host computer in the "Computer" box.

3 . Click "Connect," then type your user name and password when the "Log On to Windows" dialog box appears. Click "OK" to open the Remote Desktop window.

To turn on the Remote Desktop Web Connection, follow these step by step :
Host Computer:
  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Click Add/Remove Windows Components.
  4. Click Internet Information Services, and then click Details.
  5. Click World Wide Web Service, and then click Details.
  6. Select the Remote Desktop Web Connection check box, and then click OK.
  7. Click OK on the Internet Information Services screen.
  8. Click Next on the Windows Components Wizard screen.
Notes:  If you cannot connect to the remote computer after you follow these earlier steps, make sure that Remote Desktop is turned on. To do this, follow these steps: 
Office Computer
  1. Right-click the My Computer icon on the desktop, and then click Properties.
  2. Click the Remote tab.
  3. Make sure that the Allow users to connect remotely to this computer check box is selected, and then click OK.
Try to connect to the remote computer again
