Just enable the DHCP function and Save. Then, reboot the system. After reboot the system, go back to network setting. Write down the internal IP address (For example, 192.168.1.100, we will use this number below as a Sample) which is assigned by your router.
Step 2: Testing Internal Network IP

- Prompt: Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting
- then Click OK -> Apply -> OK
After that, put the IP address (for example: 192.168.1.100) in the address bar. And you will see a yellow bar stating that “Your current security settings put your computer at risk. Click here to change your security settings…..” DO NOT CHANGE ANY SETTINGS AT THIS POINT. You may do so AFTER the Active X Control is installed and you have successfully log on to your DVR remotely. So when you see below screen. Right click on the yellow bar and install the ActiveX Control. PLEASE KINDLY BE PATIENT, the installation may take longer than expected, it depending on your computer system performance.
Once the ActiveX Control is installed, the Login Screen will be displayed.
